Naija is a Black African consumer brand, with various business extensions. The entrepreneurial origins of the brand dates back to 2004, where it was pioneering; what would later be called - Afrobeats - themed club nights in top London venues. It quickly went on to launch a social networking site, mobile ringtone service, t-shirts with original designs, and at the time the widest circulating free distribution magazine targeted at Black Africans.
It came into pre-eminence when it designed, licensed and produced the hugely successful game show marketing platform - One9ja Million dollar game show. Making, to date, the biggest individual prize draw winner in Africa’s history.
Today creating content regardless of the medium that fearlessly represents us is still at the heart of what we do, now we get to do it with more co-entrepreneurs.
